Most travel insurance policies will not cover accidents occurring while participating in extreme adventure activities (e.g. hang gliding, paragliding, or bungee jumping).
A travel insurance won’t cover alcohol or drug related incidents and carelessness in handling your possessions and baggage. Also theft coverage won’t be available if again you recklessly left your belongings unattended.
You won’t get reimbursed for pre-existing conditions or general check-ups. For example, if you have diabetes and need to buy more insulin, you won’t be covered.
